Commercial HVAC Repair questions, answered

How is commercial HVAC repair different from residential?

Commercial equipment is usually larger, often on the roof, almost always belt-driven on the blower side, and more likely to include economizers and multi-stage controls. Diagnosis uses the same first-principles approach but the components, access, and safety requirements are different. Property managers also need documentation residential customers rarely ask for.

What size of commercial equipment do you service?

We service light-commercial package units and split systems commonly found on offices, retail, strip-center tenants, and smaller multi-tenant buildings. Industrial-scale chillers, cooling towers, and VAV systems are a different specialty and we'll tell you honestly when something is outside what we're the right call for.

Can tenants call directly, or does it have to go through property management?

Either works. For managed properties we route the ticket through the manager so documentation and billing match their process; for direct tenants or owner-occupied businesses we handle the whole engagement directly. We confirm the contact and billing path on the first call.

Do you provide written documentation for building records?

Yes. Every commercial visit produces a written summary of what was found, what was done, parts installed, and any recommended follow-up — the kind of record property managers need for maintenance files and that owners want for building operations history.
